The short version
What is Secret Santa?
A holiday gift exchange game. A secret draw assigns each participant one person to gift — their "giftee". Who your own Santa was, you only find out at the exchange (and only if they tell).
How much does it cost?
Starting is free: the Pine plan covers 8 participants. Bigger groups pick a bigger tree — and while we're in beta, every plan is free. Details are in the pricing section.
How do I sign in? Do I need to install anything?
Everything runs in the browser — phone, tablet or computer. Creating or joining a game requires an email address: you sign in with a link sent to your email, without a password. No app needed.
How does drawing names work?
Once everyone has joined, the organizer presses one button. Each player gets exactly one giftee, nobody can draw themselves, and the result is visible only to that player's Santa.
Will my giftee find out I'm their Santa?
Not unless you tell them. The draw is secret, and the chat with your giftee is fully anonymous.
We're in different cities. Will it work?
Yes — that's one of the main ways people play. Your giftee's card includes a shipping address, so you can order a gift delivered right to their city.
